What information we collect
When you contact us or request a quote, we collect what you provide: your name, company, email, phone number, property address, municipality, service details, device information, and any documents you share (such as municipal compliance letters, prior test reports, or device lists). During site work we also collect device details, test readings, and photographs of devices and mechanical spaces.
Why we collect it
We use this information to respond to your request, confirm scope and municipality requirements, schedule and perform work, prepare report packages, support municipal reporting where applicable, coordinate licensed-trade follow-up, and — if you opt in — send renewal reminders. We do not sell contact information.
Photos and mechanical-room reports
Photos taken during testing, inventories, and surveys document device condition and location. They form part of your report package and our working file. We do not publicly post site photos, mechanical-room images, or report contents without written permission from the client.
Documents by email
This website uses email and phone for enquiries. The email link opens your own email application; attach any documents and send your message there. Share only the information needed for your service request.
Retention
Test records, reports, and related documentation are retained as needed to support municipal program requirements, retesting, and client history. Quote inquiries that do not become projects are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond and follow up.
Electronic communications and renewal reminders
We send service communications (quotes, scheduling, reports) related to your request. Renewal reminders and other informational messages are sent only if you opt in, and every such message includes a way to unsubscribe. You can opt out at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to project records and using reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as required by applicable law.
